Thyroid disease is that state in which thyroid gland over or under functions. In our body, thyroid gland plays a very vital role. The thyroid gland is responsible for generating thyroid hormones in the body which is essential for the metabolism of the body. Watch out for thyroid symptoms and identify the type of thyroid you have. There are 4 types of thyroid diseases which are as follows:-

Types of Thyroids

  • Hypothyroidism: It is caused by not having thyroid hormones in adequate amount.
  • Hyperthyroidism: It is caused due to the generation of too many.
  • Structural abnormalities: It happens due to the enlargement of thyroid gland.
  • Tumors: These are benign or cancerous. When you have abnormal thyroid function tests without any clinical approvals then tumor can happen.

There are some symptoms which indicate the thyroid disease. Thyroid may cause slow body functions. Following are the thyroid symptoms, which are mentioned below:-

  • Weight gain: If you feel that you’re daily wearing clothes snug, and you have not change your food habits, and you are still gaining your weight. Then it may be one of the symptoms of thyroid.
  • Sudden mood swings: When you feel that your mood suddenly changes, like depression or, anxiety, then you may be suffering from a thyroid
  • Body Fatigues: After having sleep from 8 to 10 hours, you still feel fatigue or you still need a nap in a day. It might be one of the symptoms of thyroid.
